The Team

The Illinois Science + Technology Park staff includes individuals with training and professional experience in architecture, engineering, construction, finance, life sciences, government, marketing, and public relations.

Michael S. Rosen
Senior Vice-President,
New Business Development
Rosen is Senior Vice President of New Business Development for the Forest City Science + Technology Group. He is responsible for developing marketing strategies for Forest City's biotech projects across the United States, including the Illinois Science + Technology Park. He also serves as Forest City's liaison to the life science industry, developing ongoing day-to-day working relationships with Forest City's biotech/research clients, and establishing contacts with other prospective emerging technology prospects. He holds a BA degree in International Relations from Beloit College, and an MBA degree in International Business from the University of Miami (Florida).
Tracy Finger
Facilities Coordinator
Finger is Facilities Coordinator for the Illinois Science + Technology Park. She is responsible for providing administrative support for the day-to-day operations for the site. Presently she maintains ongoing communication with tenants at the Park, and is also the site contact for all inquiries and responsible for facilitating tours of the Park.
Bill Stender
Operations Manager
Stender is Operations and Maintenance Manager for the Illinois Science + Technology Park. He is responsible for daily site operations and maintenance of the various building infrastructure and equipment. Presently Bill is providing historical facility and operational data for the development of the Park, working with project engineers and construction contractors. Bill has been involved in designing and building various control panels for processes and utility systems at the Illinois Science + Technology Park for over 38 years, and has been recognized with awards for "Maintenance Best Practices". He has also been responsible for Emergency Response for the site, working closely with local community emergency groups.
Arthur Stender
Lead HVAC Engineer
Stender is the lead HVAC Engineer for the Illinois Science + Technology Park. He is responsible for the maintenance and operation of plant equipment, including air conditioning, heating, plumbing, piping, electrical, fire and security systems. Stender has over 30 years experience in plant maintenance at the Illinois Science + Technology Park, with a strong background in plant electrical maintenance, operation and repair.
